Norddeutsche Pflanzenzucht Hans-Georg Lembke KG - NPZ-Lembke - is a medium-sized, privately-owned, plant breeding company located in Hohenlieth (Schleswig-Holstein) and Malchow-Poel (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern), Germany.

The International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) is a nonprofit, non-political organization that does innovative agricultural research and capacity building for sustainable development with a wide array of partners across the globe. ICRISAT's mission is to help empower 600 million poor people to overcome hunger, poverty and a degraded environment in the dry tropics through better agriculture. ICRISAT belongs to the Alliance of Centers of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR).

 

CLIMA (Centre for Legumes in Mediterranean Agriculture) applies innovative science to the problems and priorities identified by the Western Australian grain and pasture legume industries. The objective is to create value for the industries and the wider community, by maximising the benefits of co-operation and co-ordination of research.

Australian Grain Technologies (AGT) is Australia’s largest wheat breeding company.

AGT and its predecessors have more than a century of experience in plant breeding, plant breeding related research, and commercial variety development.

 

Canola Breeders Western Australia Pty Ltd was established in July 2001 from an alliance between the Council of Grain Grower Organisations Ltd (COGGO), The University of Western Australia, and Grains Research and Development Corporation (GRDC). Within 12 months, the new company had attracted a fourth major investor, Nordddeutsche Pflanzenzucht Hans George Lembke (NPZ-Lembke), a 100-year-old family-owned plant breeding company in Germany, who are leaders in hybrid canola breeding in Europe and North America.

The Liebe Group was established by a small group of progressive farmers in 1997 in order to address the concern of the local area being isolated from existing agricultural research and development. The Liebe Group provides access for members to new ideas, innovation,research and networks all over Australia. Other benefits for members are the social networks created with other highly educated and successful farmers.

The Facey Group is a farmer run group that aims to improve on-farm practice to keep farms healthy and profitable into the future. Based in Wickepin Western Australia, the Facey Group is an innovative, highly motivated, organised and well-resourced grower group with a strong focus on our local region.
