COGGO has made significant investments in wheat breeding through Grain Biotech Australia Pty Ltd and in canola breeding through Canola Breeders Western Australia Ltd.
Other COGGO investments in developing new varieties are in the commercialisation of aschochyta resistant kabuli chickpeas and the development and commercialisation of albus lupin varieties with resistance to the devastating anthracnose disease.
